the way the media text is made .like different kinds of camera shots, close
ups, pans , high angle shots, etc… Symbolic codes relate to the way images
communicate meaning. Like an
advertisement showing a man with a scuffed construction helmet ,etc…

Answers:
1. The subject is about an antibacterial soap.
2. The focal point is on the bloody hand.
3. The focal point is showing how
bloody/dirty/unclean the hand is.
4. Texture. This image used the element of texture
to and made the background appear blurry so that your eyes can easily focus on
the bloody hand and the product.
5. My eyes started looking at the bloody hand, and
next is to the product being advertised.
6. Contrast is used to make the ad more
interesting. They used a white/grayish background to make the red/bloody hand
more visible and to make it more interesting.
7. The text is on the top left, just above the
product being advertised. And the bloody hand is on the right. The dead person
is at the back.
8. Repetition was used by showing the drippings of
blood.
9. The purpose of this ad is to inform people
about its antibacterial effect. You’ll find the photo a little entertaining,
and that catches your attention which persuaded you to buy/try the product.

audience is pretty much everybody. Everyone can pretty much relate to the
picture.

1. a) Which project did you enjoy the most this semester? (1 mark)
Probably the last project. The culminating activity. I really enjoyed it because It's kinda cool to do, and I also used a little bit of my imagination.
b) What two things did you like about it? (2 marks)
I enjoyed it because, I kinda expressed myself a little bit by using my imagination in creating my own video game. And i also really had fun doing my logo. I didn't thought I'm really capable of drawing something that looks nice using a mouse.
2. a) Which project did you struggle with the most? (1 mark)
I think I really had a hard time doing my Robot. I'm pretty noob when it comes to adobe stuffs, so I kinda messed things up. That's also why it took me so long to finish it.
b) What two things were most difficult about it? (2 marks)
I think it's pretty much everything about it. but I think, the 2 hardest parts of it is trying to come up with your own robot design, and learning how to use the tools. Also , knowing where to find something gives me a hard time.
3. Name a skill you learned in media arts this semester and how you could use it in
a) Next school year: (2 marks)
I learned how to use the basic stuffs in adobe illustrator and photo shop. I also learned a lot of stuffs about art. like principles of art, elements, etc... And some stuffs about photography.
b) A future career: (2 marks)
I learned how to build a team work. I know I suck at it but, I think I pretty much learned the importance of it. And also, those basic stuffs from adobe might help me in the future. I'm really happy that I finally experienced using those stuffs.
4. Choose one project that you didn’t do too well on. Write three things you could do to improve it. (3 marks)
I would say, the animation. I think I could've improved it if I'm always on time and didn't skip school. Also, if I expressed myself more, and added my ideas. I really wish I shared my ideas with them.

Were you the one that had difficult contributing? Write at least three points about how you worked in your groups. Im pretty much is just a little bit of everything, but I was never became the leader. I had a difficulty contributing because I'm always absent.a) What role did you play? I had some new friends. I also learned a little bit more about team work, and responsibility. I also enjoyed working with team members even though they're kinda weird.

There's really not a lot of negatives. But maybe, not being your own boss is one of them. And also it's kinda chaotic sometimes if you're working in teams.

I would say, 6/10. I pretty much finished most of the projects, but I submitted most of them late. I really had a hard time managing my time but I still catched up a little bit.
b) What strategies will you employ in the future to maximize your efficiency in getting assignments completed on time? (3 marks)
I think, setting goals should be my priority. I need to set goals , like , when should I start doing this or that, and when should I finish doing this/that. Also, managing my time is really important.

He/She is gonna try to impress someone with his/her music skills and build a bond with the person and start a band. The player has 18 classmates to choose from. There are gonna be 2 people for each genre; Pop Rock, Metal, Alternative, Emo, Post Hardcore, Punk, New wave, and Nu Metal. Each of them has a different story line, but the main goal is to build a band and be successful.
